Vessel Drain

Same house as last post.....We have a tiny vessel-type sink without overflow, and the standard pop-up drain can't keep up with the flow of water out of the faucet. I have heard that a "mushroom" or flip-top drain will speed up the drain. The problem is the size of the drain hole, which is 1-1/4" inside dia.
Any suggestions for a maker of flip-top drains under 1-1/4" dia, in satin nickel finish?
