Hi, I am new here to the forum. Interested in the Tramco Lift Station (flood control) for my basement, here in the Chicago area we have combined sewers and with every heavy rain, sewage backup may or may not follow. Reading the literature, it claims maintenance free operation. How true is that? What kind of maintenance, if any, is involved with one of these units? Would I need to have it checked annually, like I do with my furnace? Thanks in advance, for any replies.
