I was looking into adding a thermostatic mixing valve for safety, while setting the tank to 140F.
Seems the mixing valve would be a major flow restrictor. The check valves wont flow like the 3/4" plumbing connected to them. I have experience with Watts and also recently looked at Honeywell. On the Watts I ended up yanking the plastic check valves out.

Any recommendations for high flow TMV for electric HWT with 3/4" plumbing?

Thanks

John
