We're all dealing with Irene in some way shape or form for all on ~the block~.
I got a checkvalve installed as I am firm that this is the root cause of *my water issue*
Just watching a neighbor house a couple houses over.
This guy drilled holes all around the perimeter of the concrete and looks to just be injecting water in all these holes.
The tool of choice - the handle looks like a *bike air pump handle* with a hose attached on the top, and a piercing tip that is around 40" long. After he let's the water run in each hole for a bit, he then plugs it up with styrofoam and then seals up each hole with mortar.
What do you suppose he's doing/testing.
