We moved into a new house a month ago. Over the last couple of weeks, the Symmons Temptrol handle in one of the showers has gotten increasingly hard to turn. There started with some minor resistance, and now, two weeks later, you need to turn with both hands - and really pull it. Worried that it's only going to get worse and break. We've done nothing to the fixture since we moved in, so don't know why this is happening or how to fix it. Any thoughts?

You may need to pull the cartridge and either clean it up, or replace it.
It may have gotten some grit in there.
