Symmons Shower Won't Turn Off

Hello, I have a Symmons shower control unit and am unsure of the model number. I was unable to turn the shower off this morning. The shut off position is usually at 9 o'clock but even at 6 o'clock the shower won't turn off. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? I attached a photo of the unit in question.
