Hi,

We have replaced our cultured marble sink w a laminate countertop and a vessel sink -- the 20" supply lines provided w the faucet are about 4" too short.

We have not been able find longer supply lines w the small end that can fit the faucet. The HD associate suggested that we add these 12" supply lines as an extension.

Is it safe to have this extra joint in our supply line?

Thank you very much!!

1. 24" water supply connectors are available. Find them at plumbing stores.
2. You can also do the extensions by adding a short nipple between the connectors.

usually they are 20, but it is immaterial because THOSE supplies are integral with the faucet and are NOT removable to exchange for something else. And WHAT KIND of nipple would you suggest?

1. This person does NOT have 1/2" ips connections on his hoses, so the linked solution is irrelevant.
2. The extensions shown in the picture ALREADY have the male compression connection so his hoses will attach to them DIRECTLY, and the other end goes on to his valves.
