Hello all. I recently replaced all of my steam natural gas burners with brand new ones. Upon, firing up the boiler I was concerned because the flames were very high and they were entirely yellow. Is there supposed to be a pressure regulator on the gas valve? Is it under a screw? Is it supposed to be a blue flame? I shut it off immediately because I heard crackling noises. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Call the manufacturer of the new burners for flame adjusting instructions.
