Any tricks of the trade for sliding a stackable washer and dryer into a laundry enclosure easier?

Thanks.

The guys who delivered my front load washer which has plastic pads on the leveling feet sprayed the floor with Windex before sliding it back.

There are numerous plastic plates you can buy to help make things move easier. The hassle is, you may not want to leave them in place after getting it where you want, and if you can't reach them to remove them, the vibrations when operating could cause the whole thing to move on its own.

I used the furniture sliders but like you said I figured the vibration would be too much if I left them in place. So, necessity/laziness is the mother of invention. Here are some of the pictures of how I rigged up getting the slides out from the rear.

Took the slides drilled a hole on the angle, attached 14 gauge stranded wire, slid units in place, tied the wire around my foot tilted the unit forward and slid sliders out using my leg.
