Probably because the most realistic item used in their flush test was a hot dog and even that was probably on the small side of reality...

Maybe it's that for the price, you might as well get something with less problems.

The tank parts come in a bag, and you have to assemble them to the tank.
Most homeowners don't have the right size wrench or pliers to assemble the flush valve on these.

My St. Thomas is great!

I have a St. Thomas Arlington that has the Quattro flush. I LOVE it! It's a beautiful style and has not clogged once in the 5 or 6 years I've had it. And it gets a lot of use, too. Very minimal cleaning is required. I couldn't be happier with it.
