I presume you mean SharkBite, and the answer is no, you cannot fit the SharkByte fitting over the cut-off end of a piece of galvanized pipe. You could thread the galvanized pipe if there is room.

Certainly, I meant to say Shark Bite, but I was feeling snake bit at the time. Thanks....

The galvanized coating isn't always completely smooth, and the seal is via an o-ring...even if it fit, it might not seal well.

I can't imagine those things working reliably on galv pipe, especially pipe sourced from "overseas", as much of it is these days.
The IPS-sized Sharkbites are for use on IPS-size plastic pipe, not galv. steel.
