I will be starting a bath remodel soon. The new (alcove) tub will have a shower head and a curtain. I am concerned about the inevitable splash/overspray that hits the wall and runs down behind the edge of the curtain and then finds its way out over the rim to run down the apron.
The surround will be tiled, and the tile flange on the alcove tub is the right idea for three sides but what about the open 4th side? I am asking for recommendations for tubs that have a intentional slope to redirect this water back into the tub; or a tub that has an integral ridge along the top of the apron for this purpose.
