Single cartridge type whole house filtering system recommendation

Can I get a good brand recommendation for a single cartridge type whole house water filtering system 4.5"x10", one that won't crack, leak or explode, seems too many people are having this issue? I've been using Omni u25 filtering system for around 20 years, no longer available, the 5 micron carbon block filters I've been using does a good job of filtering my well water. The last few years has been quite challenging replacing the filters, always needing to remove and reinstall the filter 2-4 times to have it not leak.
