Hello,

I'm doing plumbing work for a shower. I have the following question:

I know the minimum supply line for a shower is 3/8 inch. But what about the following senario, I have a 3/4 supply line that has a reducing Tee to 1/2 in pipe. The 1/2 inch has a Tee going to a sink and the end is capped. Can I uncap it and install piping for the shower?

* This is for hot water only

Thanks,
Sam

Great. I thought I read somewhere shower supply must not have any other fixtures branching off. But I'm glad this layout will work -- it will make my life a lot easier.

Thanks,
Sam
