Dear all,

Our shower has packed in. There is a mixer tap beneath the shower unit. On top of the tap there is a 10mm screw-on connection for a shower hose to be screwed on. The problem is that the shower connecter is 15mm. Is there an adapter of some kind that I can buy, so I can put them together? I live in edinburgh.

Thanks
Gezza.

Your local ironmonger's shop should be able to cobble something together or suggest someone who could. The equivalent task here in the states might require a couple of fittings to do the job.

Man of the world, that's me. One of my favorite words. Or favourite words. After "bathroom", the word you most need to know in a foreign country is "hardware store", imho.
