I have a shallow well. The pump comes on but No water.
I put my hand on pump end and it sucked real good.
Have 7' of head water & another 8' to check valve.
I've primed pump about 8-10 times.
What could be wrong?
It worked last summer & i drained pump and lines and removed checl valve.

Only thing is could it be Drawing Air?
Any way to check, maybe the pipes in the ground?

Thanks for all your help and advice.

Grace

If you are getting any pressure on your gauge, try wetting all of the accessible joints with a wet cloth or sponge. If you find the leaking fitting and get the leak good and wet, expect the pressure to rise.

If there is no water pressure on your gauge, I don't know what to do.
