Hello all,
My name is chris I am building a new home it is a 4 bedroom 2 bath house it is 2240 sq feet. I am trying to select a pressure tank for my home. The well is a 540' well it has a 7gpm 1.5hp Gould pump installed. It is set at 520 feet. The static level is at 250 feet and the well was measured at 15gpm. The master bath will have 2 sinks 1 toilet a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower with Duel heads and body sprays. The kids bathroom will have walk in shower toilet and sink. Kitchen will have sink icemaker and dishwasher. I will also be watering some animals. I am not sure what else is needed so if you have anymore questions please ask.
Thanks again....

That size pump can deliver from 4 GPM to 10 GPM, depending on the depth to water. I am not sure that is enough to run body sprays by themselves, much less at the same time anything else is running. A bigger pressure tank won’t help. It can actually make things worse as the pump sees the tank as an additional load to fill. Check the flow rate required for the body sprays. If the pump can supply enough for the body sprays, you can make this work with a Cycle Stop Valve and a 4.4 gallon size tank. If the pump can’t supply enough water, you will need a bigger pump or a cistern tank and additional booster pump to be able to use as much water as you want.
