I purchased a 12" rough in TOTO Aquia ii toilet. The center of my flange is 11.25" from the finished wall. I have beadboard with 1.25" wide molding on top of it. This molding is not allowing the tank to fit. Would switching to a 10" rough in toilet solve my problem?

If the tank is hitting, then yes, the 10" bowl would be the fix for that. I normally need 11.5" from wall to center of drain for those. You can cheat out the adapter though and pick up maybe 3/8".

The toilet's outlet is a bit over 2", while the size of the pipe is at least 3", so you can fudge it, as Terry said, without compromising performance.
