Replacing concrete slab after putting PVC in, will contraction be a problem?

I have a slab house that will need some galvanized pipe removed and replaced with PVC. Once that's done, is there anything special I need to do when pouring in the new concrete? For instance, does it matter that concrete shrinks when it cures? I'm concerned that I need to sleeve the pvc with some kind of compressible jacketing so that it doesn't get crushed by the concrete or worse yet cause cracks in the concrete if it can't contract properly.

Is there anything wrong with pouring new concrete directly over the new PVC drain pipes?

Even though a tub only requires a 1.5" drain pipe, in some places, ANY pipe below grade has to be at least 2". Check with your local enforcement office, otherwise, you may be tearing it up again to pass inspection. It's a good idea to drill holes in the side of the slab and stick in some rebar to help tie and hold the patch in place.

Can be done, but better pour sand around the pipe, 2" below it and 2" above it.
Don't worry about contraction, expansion joints not needed.
