Removing and capping an OLD toilet.

We have an old toilet in the basement that I'd like to remove and cap the flange going to it. I don't want to bust out any concrete really, and I'm guessing this will be an old cast iron flange below the toilet and I really don't want to break it. Does anyone have some ideas on the best way to cap this, preferably without busting out the concrete around it?

We don't use this toilet ever and I end up just having to flush it periodically to keep the trap filled.
