Removing a bathtup faucet HELP!

I am trying to remove a bath/shower faucet. I have all the hardware off but can't get the faucet off due to the Shower on and off pull. I can not get it off.

Don't know what you are talking about. Best if you could post some pictures. At a minimum, tell us what brand, etc.

faucet

Are you using the word "faucet" for two different things. In one place you appear to call the valve in the wall a faucet, but then you seem to change over and might be calling the spout a faucet. Which do you mean?
