Remodel shower stall kits prone to leaking?

I've been looking into getting a multi-piece remodel shower kit as a one-piece won't make it through the door. The specific kit I'm looking at is the Sterling Ensemble: https://www.sterlingplumbing.com/ba...Shower-72200100-detail?productNumber=72200100

I have not seen one in person, so I don't know how the walls connect, how well the seams fit and how they prevent leaking. I am planning to install myself as I have already removed the old shower and plumbed in the new shower valve, etc. I have heard a few contractors comment that these kits leak so they won't install them. Are all these types of kits prone to leaking or is there a way to install and be confident it won't leak or a particular brand/model that is better than another?

Please let me know your thoughts/experiences.
Thanks!

This link shows some installation of the Sterling product.
The back panel goes in after the pan is set, and then the walls pivot in and snap together. For me, they work very well.
