Hi, first post and long time reader. :)

I'm doing a remodel and will have a 3'x6 shower with two shower heads each with their own valves on a 2" drain branch. I'm trying to figure out if that counts as 2 DFUs or 4. The reason is that vertical stack is 2" and I'll have a washer and tub on another branch but on the same stack which is 4 DFUs.

I know the horizonal DFU limit for 2" is 6 and 10 DFUs if vertical. But since these drains are all on same floor, I think I'm limited to 6 DFUs due to the branch interval.

I'm thinking I may need to enlarge the stack to 3". (sigh)

Thanks,
Ron
