Hi - I am sure this one is an easy one for the crew that is on this site. I have a PVC pipe running down behind the drywall in the office. What I have noticed is when the above apartments dishwasher runs the water discharge going down the pipe makes a clicking noise. I am thinking the dishwasher hot water is making the PVC pipe click due to expansion. If the experts agree on that then my second question is this. The clicking has been only happening for about 3 years now. The first 10 years the noise was not there. Any reason for the change. Also what can I do to minimize or stop the noise. thanks in advance.
