put ball valve(s) on each water heating baseboard branch?

Just wondering is it a good practice to put ball valve on each baseboard branch in a water heating system? one side or both side (in and out)?

Not sure why that would be needed. hj is correct of course.

If you feel the need, Make sure you use ones rated for Hot water. Not all valves are.

You can, if they are full port valves they won't effect flow but generally it's overkill unless you have a reason to want to shut off and isolate separate loops.
