Pump Problem?

Hi All,
Brand new to the forum did some searching but couldnt find any real info.on my problem so here it is...
I have a 1/2 HP submersible and a myers tank, system is 10 years old.
Came home yesterday and no pressure,cant get the pump to kick in either,
checked and replaced control box(franklin) no good. when I turn on pressure switch manually all I get is a spark.Any Ideas?

This isn't the answer your looking for, but average life of a submersible pump is 7 years, yours is ten years old. The spark may be what you see before the overload protector in the motor trips because the motor can't start. It could be a bad wire in the ground or in the well also.
