Proper way to clean home sewer lines?

I see no reason to use a camera on every sewer cleaning job, unless the object is to run up the bill. But if there is a recurring problem, then I will use one to find out exactly where the problem is. If there is no water standing in the pipe, it has at least minimum gradient. IF there are puddles then the pipe has sagged and the depth of the water indicates how low it has gone and the length of it tells how much pipe is involved. Once you find a low spot there is no way to tell what will cure it without actually viewing the pipe, because it will seldom be as simple as excavating the pipe and straightening that portion out.
