The power wires for my well pump broke and fell down into the well (about 80' of wire).
Will that have to be fished out before pulling the pump?
What will happen if we try to pull the pump without getting wires out?
What is the best way to get the wires out?

Well is about 110' deep
Pump is at 100'
5" well casing
Black poly 100psi pipe

I'm guessing the wire wasn't taped to the poly pipe? Around here we tape the wire so if I were to lose it down the hole it would just be the few feet above the pitless.

I would try to snag it with a hook assuming it didn't fall all whay to the bottom. There's probably a good chance it would get balled up and jam the pump if you just tried pulling it.
