Does anyone know how Porcher Archive performs compared to Kohler Memoirs one-piece?

The American Standard Porcher and the Kohler look to be pretty similar.
The Porcher has a 3" flush valve.

Any particular reason for this? (Appearance is more important than performance, for example?)
Appearance is as important as performance. I see no reason not to have both. I don't want to become close friends with my plunger, but could live with a double flush on rare occasion if looking about the improved bath made me smile.

Makes sense. Good luck. Hope you're able to achieve that.

Looking at the Porcher spec sheets and parts manual, some interesting stuff. Little bit of trivia is that American Standard (which makes Porcher) now seems to refer to the fill valve as the "Inlet Valve" whereas they traditionally and historically referred to it as the "Water Control".

You say that TOTO is so much better than the other brands, and that quality control on all other brands is s**t.

It isn't. It really isn't.
