Plumbing stack leak

stream of water coming down stack in basement. hear it dripping on orange foam in basement cieling. what can this be?

With water, it could be most anywhere.
If that stack goes through the roof, there is a chance of it getting past the roof flashing.
There could be a cracked fitting above it.
There could be a leaking shutoff nearby, a toilet to flange wax seal leak, a pinhole in a copper line.
Sometimes you can use a moisture meter on walls can floors and narrow down the search.
