Hi all,
I'm installing a water softener in my home, which is a new build. I'm having trouble planning out where to put the softener and how to run the plumbing. The line that needs to be sent to the softener is the middle line in the picture. I'm not sure if I should try to go around the lines on either side, then go behind the PVC drain pipe to the softener location. You can also see that I have a grounding rod on the right, so I don't think I want to put the softener next to that. I could also go straight from the wall and put the softener on the other side of the floor drain, but I don't love the idea of not having the softener against the wall. I don't have a ton of plumbing experience, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
