Opinions on Crane Whirlpool Tubs??

I am in the design stages of a complete master bathroom remodel, and part of the plan is to remove the 25 yr old brown marble tub and install a new soaking or whirlpool tub. I've found that most whirlpool tubs are fairly expensive ($1500+), but I recently found a guy locally who can sell from the www.craneplumbing.com catalog for less than retail, making the acrylic whirlpool tubs very affordable. How is the quality of these tubs? Anything I should be on the lookout for?
