We have an old weeping bed..and anticipate having sewers put in the the next few years ( we hope)The Toto Drake was recommended because it was fast and efficient, did not continue to run after flushing but most importantly performed well in spite of "plumbing problems" ....the speculation is an older weeping bed with possible tree roots,
we often have to flush twice ( 13 L ) and occasionally unclog....
we wondered if the Toto would perform better with our less than great conditions...if indeed that is the problem....thanks !

A better toilet produces a better flush. Once it is past the toilet flange, restrictions can reduce the ability to flush again, but getting it into the drain is the toilet's problem. Some just aren't up to the task.
