I've been reading the posts about pumping and no pressure abd trying a multitude of things without luck. Maybe just need someone to confirm my suspicions.
I've got a two jet above ground pump without ecternal tank on a 35 meter well. A couple weeks ago I was losing prime and was successful priming using garden hose from donor as suggested several times. Had a repairman chexk it and he found footvalve had a broken piece inside. Relaced the broken piece and reassembled everything. I've not been able to ģet pump to build pressure or pump water. When I use garden hose again it will hold pressure. When I turn pump on if the pressure is above cutoff it will stop running and pressure is maintained. But if I disconnect donor supply and open a faucet the pressure drops and will not build again. I've tried priming manually wuth donor hose about 5 times. When I turn on it will build a little pressure but no water. Could the well be dry? Did I not prime sufficiently? There were no other apparent problems prior to the footvalve needing repair. I should add that I'm overseas and the repairmen here may not be the most knowledgeable. Could he have goofed something up in the assembly?

Sounds like when the line was pulled to replace the foot valve something got dislodged and plugged the jet assembly as CC says. Probably going to have to pull it up again and clean out the nozzle in the ejector assembly.
