I found a nice faucet that has a built in wand. my problem comes from a threaded copper tube that holds the faucet in place. 2" or so with a nut that holds the faucet to the sink. I have tried industrail penetrating oil. the problem comes from im going to tear the copper appart trying to get the nut off. If im not really carefull the 4 lines running through it will get torn up bad and make it unusable. any suggestions on how to get it off? my last resort is to break out the grinder and chew through the ring.

Is there obvious corrosion on the nut? On some designs, you snug the nut up, then tighten screws to then lock things in place - sure there aren't any screws in that assembly? Sometimes, it's a fit issue, and a basin wrench may help since it's often impossible to reach with a standard wrench.

If you're throwing away the sink, you'll have easier access if you remove the whole bowl with it attached, then deal with it.

I removed the snug screws already. there is corrosion visible between the galv nut and the copper pipe mostly the powdery looking galvination corrosion. will see about a pic soon. the other tricky part is that the center threaded copper section is attached to the faucet handle and turns freely from the base on the top that covers the other 2 unused holes in the sink so I have to grip directly on the faucet to keep it in place while I try and remove the nut on the underside :/

If you have not been able to remove the faucet yet, give it up and purchase a new faucet. The used faucet is corroded and not worth reusing.

A rec saw will knock off any faucet. Trouble is: you'll need a new faucet.
