i am installing a whirlpool faucet and roughed in the water lines just above the subfloor with a sweat to 1/2" male thread on/off valve. Now looking at the installation manuals for a few whirlpool faucets i am thinking of buying I see that all of them are sweated copper right up to the bottom of the handle valve. i thought i could just buy a flexible hose from my valve to the faucet value just like a regular sink. its no biggie. i'll just have to take up some of the subfloor and solder a little more. but if i can use the flexible hose i would like to do that.

please let me know if this is possible

thanks in advance
