Who knew there were so many different flavors of bathtub drains! Well, now I do...

I am installing a soaking tub that is 21" deep so I have ruled out the toe tap and twist 'n pull drains. I have also ruled out the lever activated drains since I don't like having all the working bits inside the drain.

So that would seem to leave just the cable activated drains - please let me know if I have overlooked another option.

Ideally, I would like something sleek and modern like the Geberit PushControl.

Or perhaps the Kohler PureFlo: http://www.us.kohler.com/us/PureFlo...etail/bath-drain-trim/429030.htm?skuId=414863

Or this one from OS&B: http://osb.ca/products/waste-overfl...offset/5151CK.php#tab-downloads-certification

My challenge is that none of the stores stock any of these products (not even the fancy Kohler showroom) and I am hesitant to buy site unseen (with 25%-100% restocking fees - ouch!). Can anyone weigh in on any of these manufacturers &/or models? In additional to sleek design, I am hoping for a drain that will work smoothly for many years (fancy that!)...

Thanks in advance for your guidance!
Les

Thanks for the reminder, hj. Have you run across any of these units in your professional travels? If so, what do you think of them?
