Starting to drip water between motor shaft and pump when running. Can seal/pump be rebuilt or should I replace it. It's 25+ years old. If I replace it with the same model pump do I need to change the injector at the bottom of well pipe. It's a 2 pipe deep well jet pump. If I use a different brand pump do I need to change anything inside the well? thanks Tim

You can replace the seal, may be 10-20 dollars and a bit of work. You will need the gaskets also.

The Jet should be ok, If you stay close to the Flow Rate and HP of the original pump.

Good Luck.
