Hey, guys. I was hoping I could get some opinions here. I want to add a drain and washer outlet box for a washing machine to this. The wall extends another stud to the right of the picture, and is probably where I'd like to put the outlet box.

Any suggestions on where to tap into this configuration?

Thanks in advance.

Marty

Thanks for the quick reply!

So based on that diagram, flipped, I should bring the washer drain into a T just below where the existing T for the sink goes into the vent run.

I was thinking of cutting off the elbow from the sink and replacing that with a T. Would that not work?

The washer running by the lav will siphon the trap.
That's why plumbing codes require that both be vented.
The reason for keeping water in the traps is to prevent sewer gas from entering the home.
