I have recently had a Moen Aberdeen two handle faucet installed. It worked fine, but had to be removed while repairs were made to my new counter - a story too long to relate- and since then we have noted the following problem, which has stymied our plumber: you can keep on turning the handle, with only mild resistance, even after the water has been turned off. The family now knows not to do this, but other people, when they use our faucet, automatically turn the tap firmly, which forces it (easily) around a bit further. We can straighten it again, but I am concerned that over time this will loosen the tap so much that it will start to spin quite freely. It is a bit hard to describe. If anyone out there knows what I am talking about and how we can fix it, please let me know!
