I have a Moen Aberdeen single lever faucet that is just over 1 year old. When we attempt to turn the water off we end of with a slow stream of water still flowing. You can shut the water off by pushing down on the faucet control. Does anyone know how long the warranty is on this product and any ideas of how to fix the problem?

I removed the faucet handle and it appears there is a black ring which is supposed to push the faucet lever back down when you shut off the water. The tab at the back of the lever is not staying under this black ring which is creating the problem.
