Some lessons on simple drainage from the Mexican Maya Riviera. The Tiled Gutter or Trench Drain. These are the pictures men I told you about. Such a simple design for catching wind driven rain and the waste water from the housekeepers squeegee.

The trench or gutter goes into a mechanical room (I Peaked).

ACO makes a commercial trench drain sold all over the world. They are making there way into private homes since the look is amazing. I wish I could sell them but when I asked for the second time I was told NO.

Either way they are slick products.

Check out this trench drain. Only the top sliver is visible. And this model is the PVC version that top can be ordered in stainless as well.

These work well for discrete installs with pavers and the like.
