Hi there,
Newbie to this forum
we recently remodeled our kitchen and installed a new sink and faucet. We opened the water lines and found out that the water pressure is too low. The faucet is rated for 1.8 gpm but i was able to get only 0.6 gpm :(
the water pressure is low in both the faucet and the sprayer. I cleaned the aerator, there was not much buildup there.
I ran the water for a while but still it didn't help. we have city water and we had very good pressure in our previous faucet.
Any idea what could be wrong with the install?

What is the GPM with the aerator off?

Same flow for hot and cold?

What brand and model of faucet.

My home came with a WaterRidge that was pretty poor that way. That went in the trash pretty quickly.

In the description of your faucet it says it has a Low Flow Neoperl Aerator.

This type of aerator only allows 0.5 gallons per minute (gpm) so I’m not sure where they are getting the 1.8 gpm. I would remove the Low Flow Neoperl Aerator and take it to the hardware store and get one that has a higher flow or get one that is wide open with only a screen. At the hardware store there will be an aerator size gauge for you to determine what size you need.

There are some aerators that have 1.5 gpm or higher flow rate in this link:
