Where to get some good leak detection equipment?
Ive tried one or two cheaper units that really arent worth the money.

Any suggestions?

I don't bother. I call a subcontractor to do my leak detection. To do it correctly it takes much more expensive equipment, and lots of it, than is practical for anyone other than someone using it all day, every day.

You can have the best leak detection equipment, but with out the experience of using it, tracing leaks is hard. I have many other plumbers in the area here call me to locate sewers, leaks, and trace lines for them even after they spent big $$$ on the equipment. Now a few questions what kind of leaks detection are you looking for? Water? Gas ? Sewer?
