We just replaced the valve seats on our koler bathtub faucett and now when we turn the water back on, water pours down the wall behind the bathtub into the basement. We used the correct seats ordered from kohler. Help!

leak

The seats go inside the faucet so even if you used the wrong ones it would not leak inside the wall. You must have left off the seals on the stems when you reinstalled them. That would make a leak.

How old is the faucet?

Maybe when you took the stems out the cap thread washers fell behind the wall.

If you didn't leave something out you may not have put it back properly, but we can't see the faucet and stem.

Is it an o-ring stem seal or a graphite packing gland?
