How to remove a rubber glove stuck in the passage between tank and bowl? I recently received a call for a slow flushing toilet. Tech sent snaked, checked flapper, fill valve, etc. All were operating normally. The only problem he found was the water leaving the tank was glugging and not swirling.

After calling an outside plumber and removing the toilet, it was found that a rubber glove made its way into the tank and was stuck in the lower bowl area. Only seen with a small inspection mirror. We tried mechanical fingers and wires to try to pull out the glove. No luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wow! What gets rid of rubber parts safely?
They may be installing a new toilet at this point.

We have something similar when we have homeowners that only flush when needed, the if it's yellow let it mellow. The bowl gets so encrusted with salt deposits, up into the siphon jet passages that the bowl gets tossed and we start over. The drain gets pretty caked up too.
Sometimes, you just need to start over again.
