My kitchen sink has backed up twice in the last month. Both times we were unable to find an obstruction and after about one day, the sink began running fine again. We are on a public water system. The only thing the backups have in common is that they both followed an unusually heavy rain? Think there's any conneciton? The drains have been thoroughly snaked and we're not sure what else to do to avoid this in the future.
