On the lighter side...

I need to dig a trench to bury the phone line for our addition. No big deal. The phone company says that any depth will do. It is only a few hundred dollars if I dig the trench. To make it even nicer, the corner of the addition is relatively close to the pole...

Guess where the contractor put the mound of dirt from digging the foundation.. So much for this being easy..

I had a big pile of dirt from my garage/addition. What to do?- I put an ad in "Craig's List." And had numerous homeowners/landscapers drive up in their P/U truck and take the dirt away- for FREE. They (Dirt People) were happy-because everyone else wanted to charge for delivery.
