Is this a fairly easy DIY plumbing reroute?

I'm building a shower and need to reroute the shower plumbing. I'm pretty DIY capable. I've attached a picture of what I need to do. When the house was built the plumbing was routed from where it comes up from the slab (right on the pic) to where you can see the shower lines. I want to simply put the shower faucet directly above where it enters the from the slab. Any specific things I should be concerned with?

Thanks

I can see why you would want to move it. There was NO WAY a proper "safety pan" could have been installed with those water lines running through the base above the floor. Apparently some "hack" did not know how to drill holes in the studs to run the lines through the wall.
