Is Soft Copper in an enclosed wall OK?

Is it OK to use soft copper in an enclosed wall (e.g. shower wall)? Planning on using sweat connections to install shower valve.

Most places would not have any problem with that on single family construction. It is type L. Only if you are in commercial high rise do you come up against a whole new world of codes!
